Why did I start watching Underground ? For two very personal reasons. Firstly for two actresses : Adina Porter (The 100) and mostly for Jurnee Smolett-Bell (Friday Night Lights). Secondly because I had never watched a series from the very first episode, and I have to admit that I'm very excited to discover Underground from the beginning.
Moreover, it's an historical series, which makes it into my kind of shows. So I didn't hesitate and went for it. Well, I wasn't disappointed.

So, not to belabour the point, here's a summary and many other informations.
Synopsis :
Underground's story takes place at the end of the 19th century. We follow the lives of a group of slaves trying to escape a plantation. We also follow the stories of other characters : the plantation's owners, an activist (John Hawkes) and his wife, and also a father trying to raise his son by himself, no matter how.
